This term we have been learning about what superheros/villains are. We all had to chose a super villain and hero and create a story about them.

It was the day before Halloween, some people were decorating their houses, some were shopping for candy to give out, and others … were planning to destroy the world. A (not so well known) Villain, Mr. Evilman is a mad scientist that was planning an extremely powerful weapon to defeat the avengers called, ‘The dark destroyer’. The weapon he has created is a futuristic laser gun. He was making it to defeat his arch enemy ...   THE INCREDIBLE HULK.

But what no one knew is what would happening the next day…

Celebrating Success

The last couple weeks our class has been doing Celebrating success. For celebrating success our teacher set us a task to chose five of our interview questions and put them in a drawing. Here is mine.

As you can see, I like sports and my favorite sport is football.

Top Team

This week on Tuesday Grey Main school had Top Team. Top Team is a series of challenges that we have to complete as a team. My team was number 15, I was one of my groups leaders the other leader was Ruby Rae wood. Each team got to do about 10-12 rotations, my favorite was a game and you had to (as a team) put on these skis and communicate to get to the other end first, the reason I liked it was because we were so good at it. This week for health we did 'U are what u eat' and we wrote down what we had eaten the day before. We did this so we could take a look at what we are eating. Here is mine.

Despareaux

This term we have been reading the book "The tale of Despereaux" it is a book about a mouse that is VERY small and has big ears compared to his size. our teacher gave us a sentence from the book and we had to add  on 5-7 more sentences. Here is the sentence

The beating of the drum let them know that an Important decision would have to be made, one that affected the whole mouse community…

and here is what I have written:

… Despereaux heard the drum and followed the beautiful sound, drawing him in. He found it, the source of that amazing sound, in his own home? All the  mice looked back and saw Despereaux. He was looking at them with confusion in his eyes. He realised the mouse community was holding a meeting, but what for. There was an extreme awkward silence, Lester finally spoke up and said, “Son, The mouse community has decided to put you out on the streets for showing yourself to humans. It was a stupid thing to do, now the Pea will be looking for us everywhere, so this is goodbye... Despereaux”. “But … but … wah” said Despereaux, “ I can’t believe it. I won’t do it again, c,mon just one more…” “STOP!” Interrupted Lester “There are no more questions. No more second chances. This is the end. Despareaux.

German holiday

This is my letter 3 facts and a view for
the country that I have chosen Germany.
There were 10 countries that we could
choose from, and I chose Germany.

I have chosen Germany because of
its international Football team, and
because my personal favorite Football
team, Bayern Munich.

Letter to family:

16/10/18

Dear Mother,

I have decided to go to Germany for a
month, specifically Munich so I can meet
my Inspiration, Manuel Neuer, the
goalkeeper for my favorite team Bayern
Munich. It will be different but, It will be
quite an experience, I’ll try new foods,
do new things, and have heaps of fun.

My Term 3 Holidays

2 Weeks earlier for the holidays I went on a trip for West Coast football REP team. There was a tournament for the whole South island, there were three days worth of football. There are 10 players per team, 7 on the field, 1 goalkeeper and how the rest of the team goes is for the coach to decide. In my team were Ariston was attacker, Cooper and Payton were center mid, Luken, Stan,and Liam were center backs, and me for goalkeeper. I had a great time at Rolleston because it wasn't just football on the second day after playing we went to INFLATABLE WORLD!!! It was so fun there were slides, obstacle courses, and two castles that had a pole in between them them and you could wack people off of it. Overall I had a great time.

First week of PrEP

This week at Grey Main school it's PrEP (Primary Enterprise Program) where we make and sell. My group has been busy working for PrEP and just yesterday it was mini market. Our group didn't sell much, we sold 2 picnic tables and one or two cars. Here is a photo of our products.

At big market we are going to be making personalized picnic tables (flowers and sorts) and Crazy race cars with your chosen number. Personalized picnic tables are 18 k (k: kiwi) and Cars w/ chosen number are 12 k.

The one and only Ivan

For the last term we have been reading a book called "The one and only Ivan". We have made a new domain for Ivan. This is me, Will, Emil, and Billie-Jean's MASTER PIECE.

It has some trees, Oled T.V, a lake with sand, a picture, and a tire swing (Hanging from roof).

This week we did a plant experiment about what liquid works best (out of milk, oil & water) water did, but oil did surprisingly well, better than I thought. Milk didn't even grow a cm.
