This week for maths I thought I would share my level of maths on my blog so you can get a better idea of what level I am working at for maths. Here is my Prototec and word problems doc for the week.

Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori

This week for Maori language week our we had the task of making a google map and answering questions around Maori history. We also did a scavenger hunt today to find the Maori phrase. We would run around the school and found numbers which had letters next to them taped to the windows of the classrooms, then make the phrase out of those letters. Since I am an ambassador at this school, I had to record how many times my teacher used Te Reo. I found those to be quite fun activities, here is my Google my map.

Maths Word Problems Wk8

This week we had another document filled with word problems, this week I found the questions more difficult than last week but I managed to complete them. Also, there were a lot more questions than last week so it took me quite a bit longer. Here is the link:

What does Gravity do? Explanation Writing

During this week and last week I have completed my fourth explanation writing about what gravity does. It wasn't the longest piece of writing I have ever done but I think I have reached the success criteria. Here is the link:

Pluto tasks

This week for reading we started a topic about Pluto. We have to complete four tasks, then we could start doing the "create" task where we had to either make a pamphlet about Pluto or a short film about a scientist explaining things about Pluto. Here is the link to my task (I included the second task as well).

Pluto task 4

This week as you may have seen on my previous post we have started doing tasks on Pluto. This task here is task four and it is a synthesis chart. We had to fill in things like the main idea of each text and then compare them, here it is.
