Instant Pudding Biscuits

In the weekend me and my mum made some instant pudding biscuits and they were so delicious I had to share the recipe with everyone.

Instant Pudding Biscuits

Ingredients:
12 Tbsp butter
1 Cup sugar
1 egg
1 packet of Gregg's instant desserts (any flavor)
1 1/2 Cup flour
1 Tbsp Baking powder
3 Tbsp Cornflour

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in the egg. Add pudding packet and remaining ingredients. Mix well and roll into balls WITHOUT floury hands. Bake at 190 deg. for 10 mins (If needed turn tray at 5 mins). bakes 22 - 24.

  1. Hi Rhys.

Yum i have forgotten about these biscuits....they use to be a favourite in my lunchbox. Will be adding them to my list of baking to try. It is becoming a very, very long list, even though I have been doing a lot of baking.

What flavour instant pudding did you use in yours?

    1. Hey Tineka, thanks for the comment! We used vanilla flavor but my mum said when she was little she enjoyed all of the flavors so we might have to try some different ones. Stay safe!

  2. Hey Rhys,
ok so these biscuits sound AMAZING! What flavour instant pudding did you use? I am going to definitely have a go at making them. Ben did the grocery shop today so I am going to have to wait a week unitl I can buy instant pudding. I wonder if I can make them with custard powder??
I have been doing lots of baking during lockdown. The other day I tried making custard squares (with my instant custard powder) but they were more like custard sandwiches. Not great. My big baking success has been Blondies. They are like Brownies but instead of cocoa powder you put in white chocolate. Delicious!
Hope you and an your lovely family are all safe and well.
    See you soon,

    1. Hi Mrs Gully, thanks for the comment! We because it was the only flavor we had at the time but when mum went to the supermarket she bought some other flavors. I've never actually tried blondies, that could be another thing for us to bake! Stay safe.
