Today, Friday, me and 7 others of my class (the rest of them were at production and rippa rugby) did some planting. We planted garlic. We also learned how to plant the garlic properly, first you hoe a row/s and then you put your garlic cloves in with the pointy bit up and the white rough bit down, here are some photos. I enjoyed planting garlic, you would too.
(I am on the right here)
Did you like it? Let me know.
Kia Ora Rhys, Emil here.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading this blog post! This reminds me of how I went to the garden in Mamaku hub and how Mr B got us to pull all of the weeds out in the garden.
I really like how you've included photos so we could see what you did and how you wrote that it was you on the right. I think this is an amazing blog post and that there isn't much you can improve on! Keep up this incredible work Rhys!
Emil
Thanks Emil!
ReplyDeleteHi Rhys
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading about your day out planting garlic in the school garden.
We are so lucky to have a school garden. I hope that you are able to go back and harvest the garlic when it is ready.
Maybe you might be able to make garlic butter and then make garlic bread. That would be yummy! Do you like garlic bread?
I actually had this for tea last night with some vegetable soup!
Keep up the good work!
Mrs Costello :)
