Blondies

Last week I got a comment on my Instant pudding biscuits and it was from my former teacher, Mrs Gully, and she said she had been baking blondies (White chocolate brownies). So I sent her an email asking for the recipe and last weekend me and my mum tried it out, here they are!

Instant Pudding Biscuit Photos

So I've already posted the recipe for these biscuits but I got a few comments asking for the photos, so I have some before and after photos of the Strawberry flavor biscuits (Me and my mum made vanilla flavor the first time). Also something I missed out when I did the first post on these I forgot to say only press them down a SMALL bit!

Keep it up New Zealand!

New Zealand is doing great at handling Coronavirus, we are getting around 10 cases a day in the last week or so, shown by the graph below. We should definitely listen to the prime minister about locking in our gains and not relaxing now, because we are doing great! Ka pai New Zealand!

(Please remember we are still in level 4 and we don't move to level 3 until 11:59pm 27 April.)

Drawing for fun

I was bored one afternoon so I decided to draw this cool looking illusion that I remember drawing last year, It's called 'Pursuit Curves', it's surprisingly easy to draw one of these and I think it has a cool 3D look.

Instant Pudding Biscuits

In the weekend me and my mum made some instant pudding biscuits and they were so delicious I had to share the recipe with everyone.

Instant Pudding Biscuits

Ingredients:
12 Tbsp butter
1 Cup sugar
1 egg
1 packet of Gregg's instant desserts (any flavor)
1 1/2 Cup flour
1 Tbsp Baking powder
3 Tbsp Cornflour

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in the egg. Add pudding packet and remaining ingredients. Mix well and roll into balls WITHOUT floury hands. Bake at 190 deg. for 10 mins (If needed turn tray at 5 mins). bakes 22 - 24.

A Special Place

This week for writing we had to think of a place that is special to you or you enjoy being at that place, I chose my living room on a winters day. Here it is.

Anne Frank activities

This week for reading our teacher set us a few tasks around Annelies Marie Frank/Anne Frank. There was one about vocabulary from the article that we read, one about questions about her life and one was about choosing a different WWII diarist. Here is my WWII diarist fact file.

(I couldn't get the other activities because they were a pain to get onto blogger.)
