Today we had a surprise speaker and we had no clue who it was until our librarian introduced us to Jake Bailey. Below is his book that he has written about his times through cancer in a really touching way. He must have real guts to tell everyone about his struggles although his treatment didn't last as long as some kids that he saw in the hospital, one of them had to do chemo therapy for four years. The lessons that he squeezed into his speech were amazing. He is a really inspirational guy and I would listen to him all day.Thursday 1 August 2019
